    Joburg Tourism launches campaign and city guide

    Joburg Tourism has partnered with Kaya FM to launch the Explore Experience & Enjoy Joburg campaign to raise awareness and drive tourism.

    The campaign includes an online interactive, real-time, guide of the city. The Jozi Guide will provide a central marketing and information point for all the city’s tourism initiatives, events and products.
    Stakeholders will be able to update the Jozi guide on a daily basis or as and when they require. The campaign will be promoted on Kaya FM as well as on other local and international platforms. 
     
    The campaign follows research by Joburg Tourism that identified a need for assistance with effective promotion of tourism products and services.  
     
    “We’re working very closely with our tourism sector partners in an effort to build awareness of our diverse range of tourism products in Joburg while also increasing demand for them,” said Ruby Mathang, MMC for the City’s Department of Economic Development. “We are committed to continue creating an enabling environment for the tourism sector, which includes a focus on SMMEs, assisting them with training, service enhancement to gain accreditation and creating business linkages where possible,” he added.
