    How to Claim Back for Training Your Staff


    EXSA, in conjunction with the EXSA Academy, is delighted to announce the latest workshop for members. This workshop will demonstrate how to complete your Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) and claim back a portion from your SETA for training – both external and internal training – for your staff. You all pay your Skills Development Levies (SDL’s) to SARS – now this workshop will show you how to claim a portion of this back. It’s a win-win situation and at the same time also helps your BBBEE Scorecard! Did you know that if you employ more than 50 people you have to have a Training Committee? Let us un-ravel the law for you.

    The workshop will cover:

    • The role of your Skills Development Facilitator
    • Research for training needed in your company
    • Planning this training for the year ahead
    • Report on this via your WSP – Workplace Skills Plan and submit to the SETA for SARS
    • How to complete your Annual Training Report, with registers, etc for both internal and external training
