    UFI meetings to examine key issues required to ensure successful exhibition events

    Paris – March 12, 2014: As the leading face-to-face media, exhibitions must stay ahead of the curve
    in developing their programmes and services to ensure attendees, both exhibitors and visitors,

    experience excellent event results. Back-to-back UFI Focus Meetings are planned to examine two of
    today’s key areas: IT and Operations & Services.

    April 9 - UFI ICT Focus Meeting: Prepare your IT for the future: Are you currently re-examining
    the makeup of your IT department structure, programmes and systems and how you will need to
    adapt these to meet tomorrow’s demands? Sharing ideas with your exhibition colleagues at this ICT
    Focus Meeting will help you to identify the trends which will soon affect your team and the strategies
    necessary to address these changes. Looking at the elements required to create a reliable, flexible
    infrastructure, you’ll come away from this year’s ICT Focus Meeting with a clear understanding of the
    advantages and viability of options ranging from organizational transformation to organizational

    April 10 – UFI Operations & Services Focus Meeting: How to provide an excellent attendee
    experience on site? Are you aware of key changes in the mind-set and behaviour of buyers and
    attendees? Do you know how to create an outstanding event experience for this demanding target
    group? Participate in this UFI Operations & Services Focus Meeting and learn how to reinvent the
    guest experience and the ‘quality of stay’ at your events.

    At both Focus Meetings, participants will have the unique opportunity to learn from the proven,
    hands-on initiatives taken by the finalists of the 2014 UFI award competitions in the fields of ICT and
    Operations & Services. Learn how your peers have tackled today’s challenges and then vote for the
    2014 winners!

    These UFI Focus Meetings, hosted by Poznan International Fair, are open to UFI members and nonmembers.
    A special registration fee is available for professionals wishing to attend both sessions.
