SA Tourism has launched a new website as part of its Welcome Campaign. Information provided on the site includes insight into the needs and desires of tourists from different countries, videos on food and wine pairing, welcome letters and gift ideas.
SA Tourism urges the trade to download and use these resources to their advantage. “It’s our way of working together with the South African travel trade to showcase this country’s welcoming nature,” said SA Tourism CEO, Thulani Nzima. According to SA Tourism’s consumer insights, personalised and authentic experiences are increasingly sought by tourists. “Being welcoming and helping with the little things is a basic component of service excellence,” said Nzima.
