    David has spent nearly 18 years with Sun International, undertaking many initiatives within the organization. His primary role is Information Technology, but his broader role comprises Security and Engineering. All Risk & compliance, Health & Safety and Environmental facets of the company fall within his mandate and as such, he is the custodian for all greening initiatives within the business.

    Katherine is the Brand Marketing Manager at Compex; she has a degree in Marketing Management, a postgraduate degree in Corporate Communication and is currently busy with her MBA. With more than ten years of relevant global experience in both the marketing and communication disciplines, her focus has now shifted to exploring core business principles and the integrated role that these and leadership can play in shaping a brand.

    World café speaker: What we do to provide greener transport
    Amiene van der Merwe, Managing Director of GreenCab, holds a Masters Degree in Education and qualified as a tour guide in 2002. She is a self-proclaimed eco-preneur and founding member of GreenCab. Amiene is passionate about the environment, so she views GreenCab as a vehicle to drive the change needed to reverse the current slide into ecological debt whilst creating HOPE in sustainable livelihoods.

    Roger Simons, Regional Sustainability Director at MCI and the President of the Green Meetings Industry Council (GMIC), has over 14 years’ experience in designing and delivering winning sustainability strategies and organising sustainable events. He is recognised internationally as a thought leader on sustainability issues and will host a workshop aimed at venues and convention bureaus and planners on 20 July 2016, at the SAACI Association Hub. Rogers will cover topics including:
