Mission: Custom exhibition stand @ Investing in African Mining Indaba 2015
Brief: To design and project manage a custom exhibition stand that will showcase the company’s impressive map graphic, allow sufficient space for iPad stands, a bar area, and comfortable Café style seating. The exhibition stand design should ensure to accommodate a 55” Plasma LED screen, create presence, and dedicate a focus towards representing the brand accurately.
Plan of Action: With the given brief in consideration, the SSQuad successfully designed and project managed a 3 walled 12 sqm U-shaped custom exhibition stand that assisted in the creation of a memorable targeted brand experience.
Brand representation was initially demonstrated through the use of 3 crisp full colour spaced-off acrylic graphics that were strategically placed above 2 branded iPad podiums. Supported by single logo branding on the left wall and a branded custom made bar counter and a bar fridge, brand presence and visibility was further reinforced by a stand height of 4 metres that allowed for precise high logo placement.
Inside the branded bar counter, storage was allowed for with lockable doors for security and 8 brochure holders were positioned on the left wall, adjacent to the LED screen. Illumination was uniquely achieved through the use of a lightbox wall that showcased their map graphic, made up of words related to industry natural resources. 3 long arm spotlights highlighted branding on the back-left wall, simultaneously creating sufficient illumination for the entire left section of the exhibition stand where attendees could be seated on 4 green bar stools against the bar counter.
Complementing the grey section on the back-left wall, charcoal carpeted flooring led into the right section of the exhibition stand, into a meeting area where seats were prepared for the comfort of 4 delegates.
Mission Accomplished: The stand animated the given brief, and our Client was very pleased!
