CITIC @ Investing in African Mining Indaba 2015

    Special Forces:

Custom exhibition stand at the 2015 Investing in African Mining Indaba

To design and project manage a custom exhibition stand that has good branding presence, height, 2 consulting areas, a bar fridge, and storage. The stand should also allow for graphic display areas that will showcase and communicate the company’s service offerings, corporate identity, and give the audience a glimpse of the CITIC team. The stand should present itself as clean and upmarket, complimenting the company CI.

    Plan of Action:
With the given brief in consideration, the SSQuad designed and project managed a 6 square metre peninsula custom exhibition stand with a height of 3.6 metres that created a presence that owned professionalism.

Maintaining the red and white colours and curve line detail depicted in the brand logo, the stand kept symmetry, and consisted of two consultant areas that represented two different divisions of the company. Each consultant area, paired with a 32” LED screen, 4 brochure holders, a custom made arch counter that flowed from the back wall and down to the side, and 3 bar stools that created sophisticated cocktail seating for the both the consultants and guests. Each screen on either of the consultant areas looped corporate company content that elaborated in more detail on the two represented company divisions, further allowing for guests to view and enquire.

Graphics were seen on each individual counter, and on the collage that ran horizontally on the stand’s back wall just below the CNC cut logo. With the aim to not draw any attention away from the exhibition stand itself, flooring was kept simple through the use of grey carpet tiles. Curved red acrylic panels on each side, there for decorative purposes, added an additional interesting element, completing the upmarket look achieved.

Illumination on the stand was simply achieved through the use of 2 down lights that illuminated the graphics, and additional to that, recessed behind the plasma panels, were concealed LED lights that illuminated the rest of the wall, and essentially, the rest of the exhibition stand.

    Mission Accomplished:
Most certainly! We’ve added yet another happy international Client to our highly valued Client list.
