Better Stands Framework
The Better Stands Framework is a global sustainability initiative designed to transition the exhibition industry from single-use to reusable stands. It provides a 10-point checklist and a tiered certification system—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—to assess and recognize how reusable and sustainable a stand is. By adopting this framework, organizers, contractors, and exhibitors can reduce waste, improve safety, and cut costs while contributing to the industry’s net-zero goals. Supported by Net Zero Carbon Events and IFES, Better Stands has already been implemented at hundreds of events worldwide, driving measurable progress toward greener exhibitions.
