The Festival of Eventing is coming back. Bigger, stronger and at the right time.

The Festival of Eventing (FOE) has announced that its second edition will now take place in March 2027, with the exact dates and venue to be announced shortly.

The decision follows extensive conversations with event professionals, partners and industry stakeholders across the continent.

Originally scheduled for later this year, the FOE team recognised that the industry calendar had become increasingly crowded, placing additional pressure on organisers, suppliers, venues and event professionals already managing demanding schedules.

Rather than asking the industry to squeeze one more event into an already busy period, the decision was made to create the space needed to deliver the experience the industry deserves.

“This festival has always existed for the industry, not for us,” says Co-Founder Keshni Reddy. “One of the things we’ve always promised ourselves is that we’d listen. The conversations we’ve had over the past few months made one thing very clear: the appetite for the Festival of Eventing is stronger than ever, but the timing needed to work better for the people we created it for.

Moving to March 2027 gives everyone the opportunity to fully participate, collaborate and experience everything the Festival has to offer without competing against one of the busiest periods on the events calendar.”

Since its inaugural edition in 2025, the Festival of Eventing has established itself as Africa’s dedicated platform for event execution, bringing together organisers, venues, suppliers, destinations, associations, technology providers and business leaders to explore the future of the industry.

The second edition will build on that foundation with an even stronger focus on innovation, practical learning, collaboration and business growth.

While final dates and the venue are currently being confirmed, planning is already well underway.

The coming months will see the continued rollout of keynote speaker announcements, industry insights, educational content, partner reveals and exciting new experiences that will shape the next chapter of the Festival.

The extended runway also creates more opportunities for organisations wanting to become involved as partners, exhibitors or speakers, allowing them to maximise their participation and benefit from a longer marketing campaign leading into the event.

For delegates, the move means even more time to plan, budget and prepare for what promises to be Africa’s most future-focused event for event professionals.

The Festival of Eventing remains committed to its vision of building an industry ecosystem, not simply hosting another conference.

Every decision continues to be guided by one question:

“What creates the greatest value for the industry?”

This one did.

The Festival of Eventing team would like to thank the industry, its community and supporters for their continued encouragement, honesty and belief in the vision.

March 2027 marks the beginning of the Festival’s next chapter.

And it’s shaping up to be worth the wait.

Further announcements, including confirmed dates, venue and registrations, will be made soon.
