With over two decades of experience, Scan Display, is a leader in the African exhibition, events and display industries, specialising in award-winning exhibition stands, exhibition and event infrastructure, retail displays, mall activations and roadshows.

Representation

Scan Display has branches in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha, and Botswana and Rwanda, and a network of distributors in Africa. Our African expertise has seen us complete numerous projects on the continent, from small exhibition stands to large pavilions.

We have the support of a global network, with partners all over the world. The company is a member of international stand building industry association, the International Federation of Exhibition & Event Services (IFES). Scan Display’s Managing Director, Justin Hawes, was the associations’ first African board member and its President for 2021/2022.


Sustainability

Scan Display is committed to promoting sustainability in the exhibition and events industries. The company encourages clients to use green design principles and eco-friendly products, including LED lights and re-usable fabric graphics.

Scan Display’s Managing Director, Justin Hawes, is a founder of the Event Greening Forum, a non- profit organisation that promotes greening practices in the events industry. He was Chairman of the organisation from 2014 – 2017, and is currently its Treasurer.


Empowerment

Scan Display is committed to empowerment. The Scan Display BEE Trust was established to empower previously disadvantaged staff members involved in the day-to-day-running of the business. Through the Trust these staff members collectively own 27% of the company.

As part of the company’s enterprise development program, Scan Display works closely with a number of SME companies such as The Soweto Sewing Company, Future Link and Easy Couriers, assisting with their growth and development.

Scan Display is a Level 2 B-BBEE contributor.


EXSA Membership

Scan Display has been a member of EXSA since 1998. Justin Hawes served on the EXSA Executive Committee for six years, three of them as Vice Chairman and one as Chairman.
